Art as a metaphor for brand
Audio was the first in an exhibition series for Audi and a continuation of the Audi Art Gallery project.
On June 25, 2010, the grand opening of the Audio exhibition was held to coincide with the birthday of the newly refurbished Audi Center Petrograd. Audio was the pilot exhibition for the Audi Art Gallery project.
The exhibition’s central idea was the visual expression of sound and music. It included work by three artists making waves in painting, video art, and photography respectively: Andrey Rudiev, Vladlena Gromova, and Dmitry Petukhov. Experts from the State Hermitage Museum acted as the exhibition’s curators. Audi is known across the globe for its support of culture and sport, in places and events as varied as International Fashion Week in Johannesburg, the Museum for Concrete Art in Germany, the 24 Hours of Le Mans sports car race in France, ‘Russian Seasons’ at the Bavarian State Opera, and many more.
Audi Art Gallery was Audi’s first PR project in Russia, forming part of Audi’s global cultural program.
The result: 300 visitors. More than 30 mentions in the media.
We developed, planned, and implemented the project from start to finish, taking responsibility for the event concept, art direction, project implementation, and PR.
